April 15, 2030 LCC requests incarcerated persons report to federal prisons located in Minnesota
June 1, 2030 Department of Corrections reports state incarcerated persons report to LCC

  • Census Phase 3 - Delivery of the 2030 P.L. 94-171 Redistricting Data Files and Geographic Products
  • Redistricting begins

LCC reallocates incarcerated persons to their last known address
February 17, 2032
(No later than 25 weeks before the state primary election)
  • Legislative and congressional redistricting complete
  • Deadline for enactment of new congressional and legislative districts.
  • (Note: this deadline is an aspirational “policy” of the legislature. See § 204B.14, subd. 1a.)
