January 2027 - May 2028	Census Phase 2 - Voting District Project
January 1, 2030	Precinct boundaries frozen Final city boundary adjustments to Census Bureau
April 1, 2030	Census Day
April 15, 2030	LCC requests incarcerated persons report to federal prisons located in Minnesota
June 1, 2030	Department of Corrections reports state incarcerated persons report to LCC
November 5, 2030	General election
December 31, 2030	State population reported to President Congressional seats reapportioned
February 2031 - March 2031 (No later than April 1, 2031)	Census Phase 3 - Delivery of the 2030 P.L. 94-171 Redistricting Data Files and Geographic Products Redistricting begins
February - April 2031 (Within 30 days of P.L. 94-171 release)	LCC reallocates incarcerated persons to their last known address
February 17, 2032 (No later than 25 weeks before the state primary election)	Legislative and congressional redistricting complete Deadline for enactment of new congressional and legislative districts. (Note: this deadline is an aspirational “policy” of the legislature. See § 204B.14, subd. 1a.)
April 17, 2032	All precinct boundaries must be established within 60 days before the state primary election
